Subject + Past Verb (V2) / Subject + did + not + V1

Usage
For actions completed at a specific time in the past. Used for completed actions, past habits (with 'used to'), and facts that were true in the past.

Examples
1. I visited London last year.
2. She didn't go to school yesterday.
3. Did you eat lunch?
4. I played cricket every afternoon when I was young.

Common Mistakes
Mistake 1: V2 after 'did'. WRONG: Did you went? CORRECT: Did you go?
Mistake 2: was/were confusion. WRONG: They was happy. CORRECT: They were happy.
Mistake 3: Using with for/since for ongoing. WRONG: I had lived here since 2010 (still). CORRECT: I have lived here since 2010.
