Showing cause/effect: therefore, so, consequently, as a result, because of.
Sequencing: first, second, then, next, finally, lastly.
Summarizing: in conclusion, to sum up, overall, in short.
Clarifying: I mean, that is to say, in other words, specifically.
Changing topic: by the way, speaking of, as for, regarding.
Agreeing: exactly, absolutely, indeed, of course, certainly.
Disagreeing politely: I see your point, but... / I understand, however... / That may be true, but...

Examples
Adding: Also, I like tea. Moreover, it is healthy. Furthermore, it is cheap.
Contrasting: She is smart. However, she is lazy. It was raining. Nevertheless, we went out.
